Come join our two-part Star Trails field trip workshop. Sackville Photography Club’s own two-night stalkers (Mark Klaamas and Mike Donahue) will lead this hands-on workshop.
Part one (the photography/field trip portion) will take place at Grand Pre National Park’s church on 03-Nov-19 (rain date 02-Nov-19) starting at 5:00 p.m.
The second part of this field trip, the editing and processing portion, will be held on Nov 10, 2019, at the Sackville Library from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Part one will start with a brief discussion on the process of capturing the photos required to create the final image of the star trails. This will include the correct exposure needed and the number of images required to create the final image.
During part two, Mike and Mark will be showing two methods to stack the photos taken to complete the final image, along with other editing tips.
– Wide angle lens (15 – 35 mm recommended)
– A fast aperture lens is better (f1.8 – f4 recommended)
