As part of the SPC Mentoring program, I am offering a session on “How to Improve Sharpness” with your images. This topic was one of the top 5 priorities that members had indicated earlier in the year through a FaceBook post.
The session will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23rd starting at 9:30 am with a rain date of Sunday, Nov 24th at 9:30 am. The session will be limited to 8 persons. It will start off at my house in Dartmouth for a presentation and demonstrations on how to improve sharpness. We will follow that up immediately with a trip to Shubie Park to practice what we just discussed.
The following topics will be covered off in this session: stance and posture; the importance of a tripod; handholding tips; choosing focus modes and focus points; lens considerations; impacts of shutter speed, aperture and ISO; processing tips; and others.
If you are interested in this session, please provide a comment below. This session is more suited to less experienced photographers/members but is open to all.
