Meeting: Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019

Our next Sackville Photo Club meeting is this Wednesday April 3rd, 2019.  Doors open at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7pm.

This week our Guest Speaker is our very own Mark Klaamas who will be guiding us through the “PhotoPills” app and how it is best used to get legendary images based on the sun, moon and stars. We will present our Monthly Showcase for “Composites”Ron Pitts has submitted a stunning  Member Showcase “Bosque del Apache”Marshall Hewitt will get us all thinking about our annual “Photo Contest”Mike Donahue will be putting out a call for images for our next “Live Critique”, and it’s that time of year when Chris Briand gets us excited about Elections 🙂 . There will be updates on Field Trips from Darren Lightfoot and Mentoring from Kevin Hall. As always we will have our 50/50 at break.

A reminder that the March Common Object Theme is “Coffee” images can be sent to showcase@sackvillephotoclub.com  by midnight Saturday, April 13th. Send up to 5 images, subject line should read “Coffee”.

Dave Brosha’s “Moments of Magic: Art In The Landscape” workshop is coming up on April 27th-28th, although all of the 2-day passes have been sold, there are still a few tickets to attend the 4-6 hour Classroom portion on  Saturday, April 27th – a great opportunity to hear Dave speak about all aspects of Landscape photography through a series of talks / slideshows / inspiration / technique.
