SPC – Field Trip – Portrait Practice – Halifax Public Gardens – Saturday, September 22, 2018
A field trip to help members practice their portraits or if they wish to shoot foliage & flowers in the Halifax Public Gardens.
Some say the best natural light for portraits is after the fall solstice. So, 22-Sep-18 should offer some great light to capture a portrait with natural light and with sunset at 7:11 p.m. we should be able to capture some nice “golden hour” images.
For those wishing to practice/learn off camera flash as well as balancing ambient light and flash this will be a great opportunity. The call for models has been made and we are getting a good response ….. but if you have a favorite model or a family why not bring them. This is a great opportunity for the photographers to create some amazing portraits, have their own taken or have a family portrait done.
If you are interested and able to attend please contact Field Trip Coordinator Darren Lightfoot at firstname.lastname@example.org
