Field Trip: Cape Split – Tides and Wildflowers (May 12th)

The wildflowers on Cape Split are usually in full bloom by the second week of May so get your hiking boots out and get ready for an adventure.

Date: Saturday, May 12th, 2018

Time: 9am – 5pm

Location: Cape Split Trailhead, Scots Bay, Nova Scotia B0P 1H0

Further Details:

The wildflowers are about half way out the cape but for the full experience you’ll want to go the end to see the tides and cliffs.
It’s a 6 kilometer hike to the end of the cape so this is a full day adventure. You’ll want to bring your lunch and plenty of water.
The start of the trail is much improved since the province took over the land and added a parking lot and toilets.

Cost: Free
