Thursday, December 6th, 2016 – 9am
Pollys Cove Hiking Trail is one of Nova Scotia’s hidden treasures when you want to enjoy the coast without the tourists. This is a hike with views of Peggys Cove, off shore islands and secret coves.
Meet in front of Tantallon Public Library at 9am
Here’s a map of the hike.
Camera – Bring your favourite camera and lenses, as the area provides opportunities from the wide angle landscapes to the details shots.
Tripod – Not required, but the area offers opportunities for some longer exposures with some crashing waves.
Hiking Boots – The hike to hidden cove and back is a total distance of about 3 KMs. Depending on the conditions, there can be some wet or slippery spots, so proper footwear is strongly recommended.
