Have no fear, our next club meeting is still this Wednesday, October 19th and we still have our great guest speaker planned, Halifax based stock/landscape/nightscape photographer, Shaun Lowe presenting. Otherwise though, we’ve had some scheduling changes for the 2nd half of the meeting.
We’re fortunate to have Banff based (and Nova Scotia born and raised) wildlife and landscape photographer, Brian Merry, who’s in the region teaching a fall colours workshop in Cape Breton, come to present. Photographing for 30 years, Brian moved to Banff in 1996, starting his photography business in 1997. Since 2010, Brian has been teaching seminars and hosting landscape photography workshops in Japan, California and across Canada. For more information and to see some of his work, take a look at his website at www.brianmerry.ca.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the meeting starts at 7pm. Just to note, so everyone can plan accordingly. Due to having the fortunate problem of two great presenters, the meeting may run a little longer than the 9pm that we usually try to end at.
As always we’ll have our 50/50 and the opportunity to socialize with our fellow club members.
We look forward to seeing everyone this Wednesday!
